Police have charged a man in relation to the armed robbery of a corner store in Maryborough this morning (August 13).
It will be alleged around 6.50am, the man entered a Churchill Street store armed with a knife where he allegedly threatened a male shop attendant before fleeing on foot with a sum of cash.
Police located the man a short time later where he was arrested without incident.
An 18-year-old Maryborough man has been charged with one count of armed robbery and is due to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court tomorrow.
