Unarmed robbery, West Mackay

Mackay police are seeking assistance from the public following a reported unarmed robbery on the corner of Shakespeare Street and Nebo Road, West Mackay, on October 10.

Around at 7.50pm the victim was walking on a footpath when he was approached from behind by two men before the pair assaulted him and stole his wallet, which containing cash and personal cards.

The 35-year-old male victim sustained bruising as a result of the incident.

Police would like to speak to two males who were seen in the vicinity of the area around the time of the incident.  One of the males may have been wearing a black tracksuit.
